POSITION: Processing Crew Member
JOB SUMMARY
A Leonardite Products crew member is involved in processing and packaging Leonardite.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Operate forklifts to move Leonardite around facility, on to trucks and railcars.
- Drive Front end loader from stockpile to drum dryer.
- Package finished Leonardite and prepare for shipping.
- Repair equipment as necessary using special skills, if available.
- Clean equipment, grounds and warehouses as requested.
- Run drum dryer, screener, conveyors, mixer as needed.
- Work with Plant Manager and Safety Director to maintain a safe working environment following the guidelines of Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA).
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Training Requirements:
- General Safety.
- Lock-out Tag-out.
- HAZMAT.
- Forklift Safety.

Physical Demands:
- Some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment required.
- Lifting of objects up to 100 lbs.
Personal Protective Equipment:

Work Environment:
- Majority of the work is out doors, year-round
- Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes and noise.
- Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments
- Currently there are two shifts per day between the hours of 7AM-6PM Mon. – Fri.
- Weekend, Overtime and On-Call hours are possible, yet are generally predictable

POSITION: Custodian / Maintenance
We are seeking an individual who will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment inside the buildings and grounds of Leonardite Products.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the Operations Center (breakroom, lab, offices, control room, changing area and showers)
- Police grounds and all buildings to maintain a clean and orderly condition
- Supervise cleaning in the office and shop building
- Supervise ,schedule and/or perform outdoor grounds maintenance (Mowing, Weed control, Snow removal)
- Provide a safe, tidy and clean environment for employees and visitors adhering to MSHA regulations.
- Organize and perform maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks
- Determine the best economics for tasks and products
Duties:
- Empty trash
- Perform cleaning duties such as: Cleaning floors, Dusting/wiping appliances, counters, Cleaning bathrooms, Wash walls and doors
- Perform furniture setups and break downs for various functions
- Keep inventory of cleaning, bathroom and kitchen supplies; reordering through purchasing department.
- Participate in plant deep cleaning regimen annually.
- Organize custodial closets and equipment
Training:
MSHA 24-hour safety training and annual refreshers will be provided
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in cleaning and/or maintenance desired
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work alone and be self-motivating
- Communication skills
- Organizational skills
Experience:
- Relevant custodial and janitorial: 1 year (Preferred)
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Additional Compensation:
- 75% of Health Insurance provided, after 90 Day Probation
- Vision and dental available
- Bi weekly pay
- Vacation accrues- one week after six months. Increasing after five years.
- Sick leave accrues one week after six months

POSITION: Customer Service Representative
JOB SUMMARY
The customer service representative is responsible for continuity of customer relations and the efficiency of the ordering processes. This position will include internal and external processes; it will require knowledge of company products, measurements and delivery processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Partner with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations
- Provide timely and accurate information to customers order status
- Process customer orders, changes and returns according to company procedures
- Provide timely feedback to the company regarding service failures or customer concerns
- Prepare and execute requested customer documentation
- Communicate with customers and update information regularly to sales and production
- Participate in production meeting and work with production team to schedule out going shipments.
- Answer office phone as required
- Help with office work as requested
- Build and maintain customer and associate databases
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

POSITION: Assistant Miner/ Processing Crew Member
JOB SUMMARY
During the mining season this person works with the Master Miner and the Plant Manager to assist with mining activities at Stony Creek Mine and transport leonardite to the processing center. When required this position also integrates with the rest of the processing team and the Leonardite Products facility.
Special Skills:
Mining Duties:
- Clear mining surface of clay and debris
- Dig and deliver coal to the processing plant stockpile based on the quantity required each year
- Operate mining equipment front end loaders and dump-trucks
Processing duties:
- Run drum dryer, screener, conveyors mixer as needed
- Operate forklifts to move leonardite around facility, on to trucks and railcars
- Operate forklifts to unload rail cars and load tricks with proppant
- Operate proppant conveyor loader for proppant trucks.
- Drive front end loader from stockpile to drum dryer
- Package finished leonardite and prepare for shipping.
- Clean equipment, grounds and warehouses as requested
Training Requirements:
